I've been bugging my friend Rachel Berry for some old fence boards from her burn pile. Finally I was able to lasso Max and Eli to help me and we headed out between rain storms, (though it started raining on us soon after we got there).
Rachel warned us about all the nails in the pile and to be careful. And we were, until like the last two minutes we were there. Max, in his enthusiasm to go after a board, stepped on a nail. Ouch! Luckily his tetanus shot is still effective for a few more years!
But, in Max's own words, there's money in that wood! This is the load we got. Was it worth it?
Heck ya! In fact, I want to go get more when its not raining.
